For each event you play, you earn a variety of points. After the round of three, you get given the points you have earned, plus points if you came in first. You can then spend these points on cards to keep your records or on a variety of special and rare items.

Block smash is a pretty simple game. Your pokemon needs to be fast and strong. Tap the blocks on the ds touch screen as fast as you can. The pokemon that destroys the most blocks wins. There are ten blocks in each stack. Eventually your pokemon will get tired so you can switch it out. Circle Push is another simple game. All three of your pokemon are on a field with all other 9 pokemon.
The objective is to stay inside the circles that pop up in the floor. As time goes on the circles get smaller and the points for those circles get bigger. You'll need to push out the other pokemon from the smaller circles. You can move all three of your pokemon on the touch screen. This is a tough game. All 12 pokemon are on a platform while giant discs fly over. Depending on where you're standing where you catch the discs you'll get 1, 2, 3, or 5 points.
All the pokemon can fall off the platform and come back after a second or two.
