Ff13 can i go back to pulse
Use Vanille Leader , Lightning, Sazh. Start the fight by spamming Deshell manually, and then when everyone has Haste switch immediately to [2] to cleanse the status ailments Deprotect and Deshell he inflicted with Miasma. Then switch to [3] and keep healing with Vanille while Lightning and Sazh do all the damage with Ruin.
Whenever the boss uses Miasma or his lightning attack, switch back to [2] to cast Esuna and Cura again. You may want to use Doctor's Code and Potions too, but they shouldn't be necessary; if you want to use them, the best moment is when you are under Daze effect can't act for a few seconds after Miasma, and you need to heal item consumption is allowed, unlike other actions, even while Dazed. The fight will go by very quickly despite you won't aim at Staggering the enemy; Ruin attacks on a Deshelled enemy of this type are devastating even without Staggering.
Paradigm [4] is just in case you need to renew Deshell, which shouldn't be the case since Haste should make you finish before your first buffs expire.
The enemies temporarily disappeared from the area when the previous enemy spawned -- use this opportunity to loot the treasure spheres in this area before they get back.
Use the Waystone of this area to fast-travel to the other area of Yaschas Massif Tsubaddran Highlands. From there, backtrack out of this whole place and return to Vallis Media. Mark: Rakshasa, 3x Flan. Reward: Collector Catalog. Note: you can get a pre-emptive strike if you try it from the other side of the water the Yaschas Massif side , but it doesn't matter.
Use Fang Leader , Lightning, Sazh. Spam Ruinga manually with Fang for as long as there are Flans alive use only Ruinga, don't add any other attack ; this will keep the enemies busy and prevent them from merging with each other. When everyone has Haste, switch to the second Paradigm and keep spamming Ruinga. When all the Flans are dead, stay in this Paradigm and Auto-Battle until you Stagger the main enemy; then Launch him in the air and switch to the third Paradigm possibly while Fang is in the air, to avoid the Paradigm Shift animation for a fast kill.
Mark: Kaiser Behemoth. Reward: Rhodochrosite. Note: you can pre-emptive strike him. To do so, get his attention by luring him from his left he will stand in position, but he will look to the left now. Then go around him and surprise him from behind that is to say, from where was originally his right side. He's surprisingly weak for a Class-C enemy; good for us. Now head towards the South-most part of the Steppe hug the mountains to the South , and proceed West from the entrance.
You'll reach a path that is currently blocked by a red barrier, and the next Stone is just before it. Mark: Geiseric. Reward: Royal Armlet. Note: pre-emptive strike is not possible. This mini-boss has , of HP and hits hard. On the other hand, he is weak against Deprotect, Deshell, Slow, and all elements. He usually doesn't get "stunned" by your attacks while Staggered, but he can be Launched; unfortunately, Launch will often fail against this enemy having the Vigilance status helps to fix this, but we're simply going to rely on another approach.
The battle requires a full-Magic approach because of the scarce reliability of COM's Launch, and also the relatively small amount of damage dealt by COMs. Hope had Magic, Vanille had , Sazh also The boss uses tremendous attacks, so you must cast Protect and Faith in this order! The boss will attack now, and he will "cancel" your Faith casting; therefore Vanille will receive only Protect. Next, cast Protect and Faith on Sazh, who at this point has finished casting Haste on everyone and will cast Faith on Vanille.
Now everyone has Haste, Protect, Faith, and the boss has Deshell on. Switch to [3] and quickly Stagger him in a turn or so. After Staggering, if you need healing as it's likely to be the case , switch to [5] to let Vanille heal you.
Stay in [5] for as long as the situation is under control. When the HP start to get really low, switch to [6] for more healing. The boss will eventually spawn a side arm, which deals incredible damage. As soon as he spawns it, switch to [4] and Deshell it; then quickly Stagger the arm, and finish it off with [3].
If you need healing you can switch to [5] after Staggering the arm. Repeat this process recasting Deshell on the boss with [4] when it wears off , and you'll defeat him after a bunch of Staggers. To reach the next mission, hug the South mountains and head towards the previous Cie'th stone; you'll find it after the path that leads to the previous Cie'th, by a small "hill".
Mark: Goblin Chieftain, 3x Goblin. Secondary reward: Bomb Shell x 4. Note: pre-emptive strike is possible; approach them from the left side, that is the side where the closest Save Station is.
Mark: Pulsework Champion. Reward: 3x Perfect Conductor. Secondary reward: 4x Piezoelectric Element. Note: you can pre-emptive attack him, although it's a bit difficult. I managed to do so from the North side, after using Start and Retry to reset his position. You'll see the next and last, for now mission if you check Southeast of the previous Waystone, next to an "empty" on the map area, which is in fact a lake. After starting the mission, the target will be located in the central-South area of the Steppe this area was unlocked by completing one of the previous missions.
Mark: Shagin x 2, Ceratosaur x 2. Reward: Gysahl Reins Chocobos become available to ride. The game will tell you about Chocobos with a mini-tutorial. If you want more info about the "treasures" found with Chocobos, check this map:.
You'll have to dig at least 20x treasures for an achievement. Up to five treasures will spawn in the Steppe every time you enter it.
I don't suggest deliberately looking for treasures yet, but if you see the "! You can find a link to it in the General hints and tips for quicker reference in the future. The treasures obtained from Chocobo-hunting are usually random, but after some digs you will get a fixed treasure. In particular:. Gysahl Wreath Discovered buried treasure with a little help from a chocobo.
Many valuable items are in this list, but consider them as an extra plus for the mandatory 20x digs you need for the achievement, rather than considering digging with Chocobos a reliable method to obtain these items. Thanks to the Chocobo you can also access some treasure spheres that were previously unavailable.
Here is a map of these treasures. Note that the last three are located behind a red barrier that will only be removed after completing a quest in the future quest 30 ; they are not relevant items for now, so you can ignore them. Even if you don't feel like hunting treasures with the Chocobo too much, try to locate at least one first treasure before leaving: the pre-determined Gold Nugget that you'll get is worth 60, Gil!
It's all done now -- time to proceed with the story. Reach a Waystone and warp to Oerba if you are ready to go. Map of Chapter 11 - Gran Pulse - Oerba. Although the village is small, it's also infested by terrible enemies. Some of them can hardly be avoided; others can't be avoided. If they do, you're good to go; if they don't, you should probably go back to the Steppe and farm some CP to reach these numbers. On the left side, before the Waystone, there's a dead end with a treasure Perovskite ; you probably got this earlier, but anyway.
Proceed towards the "houses" on the right after going down a slope, and go upstairs to get inside. On the floor, in the kitchen, there is a small robot. Speak with him: it's Bhakti. This robot is associated with three things:. There are no direct rewards for doing this, but the next two points will become available once he's repaired - He will give you rewards every X steps taken on Gran Pulse.
The last one is for 10, steps. An Achievement will unlock once the final reward is claimed - He will also give you a reward for collecting every Accessory and Weapon of the game. Another Achievement will unlock after this milestone is reached. The third point is not going to be of much interest anytime soon. However, the rewards for merely walking on Gran Pulse and repairing him are great at this point of the game, so let's go get them while we explore the village.
The five parts requested by Bhakti are marked on your map as interaction points. One is in the upper-right corner of the open area in front of the house Power Cable. Backtrack a little bit and go up some narrow stairs to access a small building.
Here there will be a Vetala the same nasty Cie'th that probably gave you quite some trouble back in Taejin's Tower guarding the second part for Bhakti Battery Pack. You are more powerful now compared to your first encounter with him, so the strategy used there keep Fang as SEN all the time, rely on Poison casted by Vanille, and try to Stagger him with Sazh for extra damage should give you an easy win now.
Proceed further through the village, and fight a couple of enemies to gain access to a treasure sphere containing the Heavenly Axis weapon for Vanille Belladonna Wand is better, so stick with it. Go down the slope and hop past a few tree roots on the street. Make sure to fight the Vampire enemy between them; after the fight you will receive a third part for Bhakti Trochoid Gear as a special drop from him.
After the tree roots, turn left up some stairs to reach anothre treasure sphere Librascope. Another part for Bhakti is here, also guarded by a bunch of enemies, among which another Vetala. If necessary, help yourself with Summons. After a tough battle you'll be able to get the Aspheric Lens. Go through the door on the left side to access some stairs; go up to reach the rooftop, where two treasures can be claimed -- a Moogle Puppet and the Pleiades Hi-Power weapon for Sazh they are a weapon good for hard farming, but their HP malus makes them bad for the average situation.
There is also a dormant Cie'th stone on this roof; nevermind about it for now. After getting everything, go back outside. Continue through the village and you will eventually reach a Save Station. Go up the nearby stairs to enter another area. Right in front of the roof where you came from there will be the last piece of Bhakti Metal Plate. On the left side there is a treasure containing a Flamebane Brooch Critical Barfire. Even if you already have all the five parts now, hold on a minute before going back to Bhakti, and proceed to open anothe treasure ahead on the bridge.
Fight your way North. This treasure contains the Taming Pole weapon for Fang; this is one of those weapons with high stats and Stagger Lock. Since it's exactly the weapon that we're going to upgrade with Bhakti's rewards, make one last effort and fight this other Vetala to acquire the precious weapon. One last treasure will be found past the last Save Station, and contains an Ethersol , but we'll go there later. Now it's time to go back to Bhakti and receive your prizes. After Bhakti is repaired, talk to him again and he will give you rewards depending on how many steps you've taken on Gran Pulse.
Chance are that you will have taken much more than 10, steps by now, and therefore you will receive all of the following rewards: 10x Deceptisol, 2x Ultracompact Reactor, 1x Gold Nugget, 5x Perfume, 3x Platinum Ingot. Moreover you will unlock:. Pulsian Pioneer Took over 10, steps on the lowerworld surface.
The 3x Platinum Ingot are the most important ones for now; each of them sells for , Gil, and therefore you now have , "free" Gil in your bank account, ready to be spent on whatever you want.
Sort of. It will take a while before being able to farm Gil methodically, so please avoid wasting them on unnecessary purchases weapons or accessories, or bad usage of materials for upgrades. You can also sell the Gold Nugget for 60, Gil, the Perfumes for 12, Gil each, and the other Gold Nugget that you should have obtained with the Chocobo earlier by digging the first treasure.
This brings us to a total of more than , Gil to spend. The other three characters, thankfully, don't really matter for now, even if in your main party you're going to replace Sazh with Hope soon. It would be nice to get our hands on the Belladonna Wand upgrade Malboro Wand for Vanille, and Snow's Winged Saint upgrade from the Paladin weapon , but unfortunately they require catalysts Uraninite and Scarletite, respectively that are out of budget.
They are not all that important though, don't worry. All the details about upgrading can be found in the Equipment Upgrading Guide page, but here's a quick summary. They are all equally effective and equally expensive, so you can use them indiscriminately. Using 36x of any of these three Organic Materials on a piece of equipment will give it an EXP x 3 bonus.
Once the bonus is applied, you will then use a variable amount of Inorganic materials to add massive amounts of EXP to upgrade it. The two best Inorganic materials are the Ultracompact Reactor, useful for very large amounts of EXP typically only weapons will need these , and the Superconductors, useful for smaller amounts of EXP.
They are not cheap, so please don't buy the wrong amounts and use them effectively as you'll be told. To be safe, save the game before doing upgrades , just in case.
Make sure to have enough Inorganic materials before applying them. For example, if you need use three Ultracompact Reactors and you only have two in your inventory, buy another one before using three of them at once -- using two first, and one later, is NOT the same, since the first Inorganic materials will reset or at least lower the EXP bonus from the Organic material, and therefore the next Inorganic material will not benefit from the bonus unless you consume more Organic materials to re-add the bonus.
Use 36x of any of the three Organic materials mentioned earlier to add the 3x EXP bonus. You should already have an Uraninite from your journey two, actually , and you should already have two Ultracompact Reactors since they were part of the Bhakti rewards. Therefore this upgrade will only cost you 50, Gil to buy the third Ultracompact Reactor and about 3, 2, Gil for the Organic materials. Use 17x Superconductor to reach max level.
Use 1x Perovskite to upgrade it to Hyades Magnums Lv Use 36x Sturdy Bone. Use 3x Ultracompact Reactor. Use 29x Superconductor to reach max level. Total: a bit less than , Gil Perovskite not counted since you should already have one, found just in Oerba. I know it's expensive, but it's worth it, trust me. Use 33x Superconductor to reach max level. Use an Uraninite to upgrade it to Venus Gospel Lv Total: about , Gil, without factoring the Uraninite since you should have got a second one in Sulyya Springs.
So far we've spent about , Gil -- still another abundant , to use. Considering that we can't really do much about the other weapons, let's talk about accessories.
There are many accessories that you probably wish to upgrade, but some of them are particularly important. The one I'm specifically talking about is the Black Belt, an accessory that will be essential to get the Growth Egg early on, and will continue to be useful in a lot of battles including most boss battles. Right now you can equip nine of them at most three per character , so let's just make these for now.
Each one costs 4, Gil. You should already have two of these, so to purchase the remaining ones you'll have to spend 31, Gil. Still, that means that you'll take half the damage from physical attacks when you have them all equipped!
They cost and upgrade exactly like Black Belts, so just do what you did with Black Belts to upgrade them to max level too. Cost will be the same too a bit less actually, since you have more than 2x Rune Bracelets from treasures, so you'll have to buy less to get a total of nine. We're almost out of money now, but don't worry: we won't have to make any other upgrade for a long time. If you want, now you can go farm Behemoth King and Megistotherian in The Archylte Steppe to complete the farming of Stage 8 of Crystarium if you didn't complete it earlier.
Once you're satisfied, let's continue with the story and kick the last boss's face with your new gear, so you can unlock Stage 9 of Crystarium and then farm more CP to fill it up. Double check your equipment and Paradigms before continuing to the boss fight. You want to fight with this party: Lightning, Vanille, Fang. Please note that in the strategy below I'm not assuming that you did all the suggested upgrades. If you did hopefully that's the case , the fight will obviously feel easier than how it looks when you read the strategy.
Every character deployed should have at least 2, HP to be considered "safe enough". Fang already has high HP on her own, so she can get Strength-boosting equipment Brawler's and Warrior's Wristband instead. Lightning should be given a Doctor's Code.
Use Fortisol and Aegisol to give yourself a little advantage; they are not all that important, but a head start is always nice.
Boss Fight -????????????? Chapter 11 Boss The boss has 3,, HP. He is subject to Deprotect, Deshell, Imperil, Slow. This fight unfortunately doesn't have a fixed approach that you can follow, and will require you to constantly adjust to the situation with Paradigm Shifts. The boss has a series of different attacks. The most common HP-damaging attack is a series of small lasers; they don't deal a lot of damage on their own, but they will add up as the battle goes on.
The boss can also inflict several status ailments, among which Cursega and Dazega. You can't really do much about it; equipping Accessories against these statuses would help, but it would also occupy slots that can be used for more important stuff such as HP bangles , and it's simply not worth it. The boss won't cast buffs on himself, which is a relief. This move is the main reason why the fight can't go "mathematically" towards a certain situation, and sudden changes will happen.
This move somehow reminds of the original multi-hit attack he had in Chapter 9, but it's actually not half as bad as that old move: the damage dealt is moderate, and can be quickly healed with Potions and MEDs. Make sure to always have green HP though, or else this is indeed an attack that can cost you a game-over. Depending on what the boss does, you'll have to quickly read the situation and act accordingly. During the first phase of the fight you can take advantage of the Shrouds to speed things up.
The second phase his second half of HP will be very similar to the first one, except that you'll need to switch to healing Paradigms more frequently. The basic routine will start with [1] to cast Deshell, Deprotect, and possibly also Imperil; Slow doesn't make a lot of difference, but it helps, especially if your HP are not that high.
Good thing is that at least he will Stagger quickly. It's your allies that will do most of the damage, while Lightning is only going to add her contribution when she can, i. As the fight reaches the second phase, the damage will become less and less substainable, and therefore Paradigms [2] and [3] will become obsolete.
When this happens, you have to stick with [1] for status ailments renew them after Apoptosis; Imperil is a bit tough to score, so feel free to just wait for Deshell and Deprotect , and [4] for both Staggering and damage-dealing purposes. The boss does not have any attack that you can't endure with more than 1, HP, which is important to keep in mind. Therefore, if your HP are above that value, you can use Lightning to attack too.
Otherwise use Potions, regardless of her role, even if you have just Staggered the boss and you'd like to use her to attack. It goes without saying that this will cause you to need a lot of Staggers before ultimately killing the boss, but on the other hand at least this approach is safe.
Paradigm [5] of course is for use when your HP reach critical values. Moreover, whenever the boss uses Thanathos Laughter, you want to switch to Paradigm [5] no matter what -- Fang's SEN role will reduce the damage for everyone, and two MEDs will quickly restore your health after the attack lands. Another tip that can help is to try and switch to [3] when Stagger is about to end, but only if you are sure that your health is at a safe value. Fundamentally, to sum up, this fight requires you to be versatile to get the most out of every moment: if you can attack, do so, but if you need to heal, do it first.
You may have to try a few times, but hopefully you will get used to this multi-task fight soon enough, and Paradigm Shift will become intuitive and automatic for your brain in reaction to what happens on the screen. After the fight you will receive the Goddess's Favor Rapid Recovery.
The Crystarium will be then expanded to Stage 9. Each character has one Role that will let them learn, on Stage 9, these abilities. It is possible to use Vanille's Death ability to acquire an otherwise currently-out-of-reach Accessory: the Growth Egg. This Accessory will make you earn twice the CP in every battle, thus massively cutting down the farming time that you'll have to invest from now on.
The main story is not too far from its conclusion, but it's not exactly about to end, either. Therefore it's a good idea to refrain from rushing to the end of the game, and take your time to power-level a bit now as an investment for the future. My advice is to simply get the Growth Egg -- the CP you get in the last two Chapters, even if we only factor those from the mandatory encounters, is too huge to miss the opportunity to get it in twice the amounts thanks to the Growth Egg.
Moreover, in Chapter 13 there is a great timed one-time-only farming opportunity for CP, and you really don't want to get there without the Growth Egg. First of all, let's go activate a mission: the Cie'th stone at the top of the "school" building here in Oerba we mentioned it earlier, when it was still dormant. The target of this mission will be found in The Archylte Steppe, so backtrack to the Waystone of Oerba and teleport to the Steppe to reach the place.
To reach him you'll need to ride a Chocobo, since you have to use it to jump up a steep cliff. Before proceeding to the actual fight, you want to farm against Behemoth King and Megistotherian until you get all of the following requirements for Lightning, Snow, Vanille:. These at least are the recommended requirements. You could attempt this with lower requirements too 3, HP, or even 2, might be enough; Firaga is not strictly necessary, and neither are Curaja and Curasa , but trust me when I say that you don't want to take any chances.
The CP earned with the other characters should be spend on their Stage 9 Crystariums; there aren't big priorities, so just upgrade whatever you want for them. The Growth Egg. There's a handy Save Station near the location of the Neochu; use it, then trigger the fight. The fight against Neochu at this point is hard, but not impossible with the right equipment and setup.
Paradigms will be:. Use of Shrouds Aegisol in particular is pretty much mandatory if you barely meet the previous requirements. You'll need much higher HP to succeed without Shrouds. The fight will rely massively on luck for the first part: you either win, or you die. The boss has tremendous attacks, but one of them is simply overkill: "Screech".
The boss uses this attack always after a short while into the battle, and you must defeat him before this can happen. The "luck" part of the strategy consists of Vanille landing Death on Neochu. Start manually casting Imperil on Neochu until it connects this increases the odds of Death. Then, after Imperil is on, spam Death over and over again. If for some reason the situation is getting out of control bad luck with Snow's AI , switch to [4] for more healing power. After a lot of attempts you may have to repeat this battle about 15 times if you're not very lucky you will eventually manage to kill Neochu with Death.
Summoning Hecatoncheir might be a tempting idea, but far from a good one: unless your party is losing control of the battle i. You can also use Quake to deal a decent amount of damage to the Picochus, but it's really not going to make a noticeable difference. Given this premise, to kill the Picochus you will cast Imperil on them possibly on all of them , and then spam Firaga. This will slowly take them down, one by one.
Paradigm [3] should be used to renew Haste and Protect when the effect of the Shrouds wears off. After getting the Growth Egg. When the mission is finally over, you will receive your hard-earned Growth Egg accessory. At this point you can resume farming CP if you want, but you can and should rather continue with the main story.
Eventually, after progressing with the events you will unlock Crystarium Stage 10 the last one , which will give you access to another great set of stats, especially high HP. This will then allow you to start the ultimate farming in the game, where both CP and Gil are farmed at the same time. Just as a technical note, it's possible to farm Adamantortoises with the Bahamuth Summon method at a decent rate already now, but in Chapter 12 you will acquire some accessories that will make the process of recharging TP and therefore this whole farming method faster.
You also want to have to farm with Summon-dependant methods as little as possible, which is another reason to not attempt this farming method now that your Crystarium is limited to Stage 9 anyway. Moreover, if you defeated Neochu you are certainly stronger than you have to be to easily win all the battles of the next Chapter, so there's no real reason to farm CP right now.
We'll discuss the Bahamuth-Summon method in the Post-Ending game page, just in case you want to take a look and see what we're talking about. Even if you decide to continue farming now instead of continuing which I don't recommend for the reasons I just explained , do NOT continue farming once you've completed Stage 9 of the three main roles of each character's Crystarium. Any other investment of CP in other secondary roles is really a waste of time, because you'd better spend your CP on Crystarium Stage 10 instead, which is what will allow you to farm Adamantortoises without having to Summon.
When you're finally ready to go, continue on the Rust-eaten Bridge of Oerba and decide to leave. Note that this is not a point of no-return: you'll be able to return to Gran Pulse later when Chapter 13 starts. Instrument of Faith Defied destiny's charge and embarked on a different path. Map of Chapter 11 - Eden. Pretty cool intro, uh? Auto-Gestalt your win against a big robot during an event fight; he will drop the Sanctum Labs , a key item that opens a new shop. The formation for this Chapter will be mostly Lightning, Fang, Sazh.
Go all the way North. Another treasure sphere is located on one of the "beams" on the upper-right area 9, Gil. Nothing here, apart from a bunch of enemies avoid wasting time with them if you can; some are mandatory though. Fight your way to some elevators, then ride them up. An event fight against a Behemoth King will trigger as soon as you arrive; he should be no threat at this point. You can sneak past all the enemies, but try not to miss the treasures of this place: you can get a Rebel Heart weapon for Snow from a treasure on the right, between two flipped cars, and then the Otshirvani weapon for Hope from the one on the right just before a Save Station.
Save the game, and prepare for a boss battle. Set up these Paradigms invert first and second Role if Lightning is the Leader and Fang the second character :. However, he is immune to all status ailments, and halves all elements. The battle is not hard if you can end it quickly, but the boss will start attacking relentlessly if you fail to kill him in one Stagger. The best way to win therefore is to start with [1] to cast Haste on everyone, then switch to [2] to take the boss close to the Stagger point.
If Lightning has Army of One, use this attack while in [4] to give the Chain gauge a tremendous boost. If one Stagger is not enough to finish him off, the boss will recover HP and start attacking like crazy for a while; switch to [6] and wait for the assault to end. Then repeat the process for a second and last Stagger. After the fight, board and ride down an elevator to proceed. The game forces you in an event fight against an Adamanchelid. If you never fought one of these guys before, know that you first have to debuff them Imperil, Deshell, Deprotect ; then proceed to Stagger and beat them up.
Make sure to keep the HP up, or else they can easily kill you with Quake switch to [6] when you see this attack coming. You probably will use [4] for most of the fight. Save the game, and then go forward to find and open the treasure sphere on the right for a Punisher weapon for Fang.
Then continue North and make a one-way-only jump down to the next level. Jump down some more debris to continue. Reach the main street and check the dead end on the right to find a treasure with 15, Gil inside. Another treasure is located between the stairs to continue 5x Perfect Conductor. Follow the way to the Save Station, and then continue after it.
Head Northwest from here; there will be two paths that you can take -- follow the one on the left to reach a treasure sphere containing a Librascope. Continue past it, and at the next fork go right to find another treasure 6x Particle Accelerator by a small circular garden.
Then go back at the previous fork and continue to the left. At the next fork, ignore the big enemies on the left side and go right instead; follow the path and turn right when you can. After turning right up some stairs , continue towards a dead end to find a treasure sphere containing a Champion's Badge Victory: TP Charge. Try to leave your first target possibly Tyrant, since the other enemy Staggers more easily almost dead 50, or less HP and don't finish him off; when he's about to die, change target to the other enemy, and attack until you kill the second one.
Then you can eliminate the other enemy your first target, which you left in critical conditions quickly, and meanwhile you probably won't ever get hit since the two enemies will just fight each other for the whole almost duration of the fight. Go towards the Save Station, but proceed past it before turning right; you'll reach a treasure sphere containing the Antares Deluxes weapon for Sazh.
Then proceed towards the objective marker; before the next Save Station a scene will trigger. This location where the second Save Station of the area is is also where a big Adamantoise is located. It's one of the possible farming locations for this enemy. You may want to at least give it a shot your first time here though, since defeating this enemy will allow you to get a couple of treasures ahead.
Let Sazh cast Haste on Vanille, and then summon the Eidolon sometimes the enemy will stomp the ground immediately as the fight starts. In those cases be ready to summon before you take the deadly hit. Once all the ailments have taken place, spam Death. Let the Eidolon go away without triggering Gestalt. If you're lucky, sooner or later the enemy will get instant-killed with Death. If not, he will eventually get up and kill you in no time; retry the battle if that's the case. There is also a very low chance of getting an ever rarer and more precious Trapezohedron this item is not meant to be sold; it's a catalyst for weapon upgrades.
I've reported this method more for curiosity and general information purposes than as an actual suggestion. Emerging from his crystal, Pulse brands the l'Cie with its tendrils. In the Temple Ruins , Lightning and Fang find murals depicting the story of the gods and humanity. Fang mentions Pulse using the people of the world and threw them away similar to the way Lindzei treated the people of Cocoon. Pulse appears during Lightning's battle with Bhunivelze in the realm of the gods , transformed into a half of a twin scythe for his creator to wield.
Pulse is presumably destroyed during the battle. Pulse is the master of Arecia Al-Rashia , tasking her to find Etro's gate in Orience by picking out twelve people from the Akademeia and see if the quality of their souls is enough to become Agito and open the gate.
Arecia created the Crystals of Orience , as evidenced by their chosen l'Cie bearing the brand of Pulse. The Crystals continue this function during the ,, cycles of war , which are spiritually depicted in Final Fantasy Agito.
The armistice in the the era of Final Fantasy Type-0 , the ,,nd repeat of the cycle, was proclaimed by three of Orience's major nations as "in the name of the Divine Pulse", noted by Celestia quoting from the Fabula Pact. While in the previous cycles the twelve accepted the role, the present group refuses it and defeats the Rursan Arbiter , freeing Orience from the cycle, as Arecia abandons the experiment to find Etro's gate with the Agito. When deciphered, the text reads words like "variable", "average", "multiplication" and " number".
The bells toll thirteen times, an allusion to the number 13, a recurring theme in the whole of Final Fantasy XIII trilogy. In its concept art Pulse has church bells attached to its body. It depicts Pulse as a man striding under what could be stylized Cocoon juxtaposed against Gran Pulse. The card reads in Etro script : "Gaze held aloft, his strides bring ruin", referring to Pulse's wish to destroy the world to open the way to the unseen realm.
